Turramurra Drapery is a treasure trove to dressmakers, knitters and all crafty people, having been in Turramurra since early last century.
Conveniently located on the Pacific Highway, just 200 metres from Turramurra station, it is easily accessed by train or car, with parking off Forbes Lane at the rear of the shop.
Sue Croston and her team have decades of experience and are always happy to help with your latest project. Sue has breathed new life into the store, encouraging a younger generation to learn and carry on the skills of dressmaking, knitting, crochet, embroidery and patchwork. To this end classes are offered in embroidery, knitting and crochet.
Browse the pages of this website to see the wide range of products that Turramurra Drapery has to offer.
The Drapery stocks beautiful fabrics and knitting yarns from Australia and around the world, especially favouring the natural feel of cotton, wool, silk and linen.
These are complimented by a large range of knitting and sewing patterns, haberdashery, accessories, classes and beautiful gifts for all.
Some people may not be aware that the Drapery also handles embroidery of “colours” on blazers for schools including Knox, Abbotsleigh, Ravenswood, Sydney Grammar and Shore.
Your visit will always be welcomed.
